 Balanced offers residential retreats for those wanting to take time out, rejuvenate and reenergise.

The retreat includes: Kundalini Yoga classes, health and beauty treatments, use of indoor pool and jacuzzi, full support and guidance to ensure you get the most out of your stay.

We offer a “pick and mix” scheme whereby you can choose any of our treatments and a variety of treatments from excellent local therapists offering everything from manicures to hot stone massage.

The retreats can be held during the week or at the weekend

Accommodation

Bed and Breakfast is included and you will be staying at a guest house 5 minutes walk from the centre.

Location

We are ideally placed on the South coast in a private house next to the sea in Hampshire. This is a home-from-home for those who love fresh air, beauty, and tranquillity. The nearest train station is Havant and a taxi ride to the retreat should cost no more than £5.

Cost

Our policy is health and wellbeing for all so we do not charge overpriced fees to join our  retreats.

Kundalini Yoga

Yoga classes are the perfect start and end to each day of the retreat with fully trained Kundalini instructors. Kundalini yoga is a dynamic and unique style of yoga and is known to be a science and technology in its own right. In the 1960’s Yogi Bhajan took Kundalini yoga to the USA and since then its popularity has gathered momentum. The word Kundalini literally means ‘coil’. There is a vast store of ‘vital energy’ that is coiled like a sleeping snake at the base of the human spine. In order to awaken the Kundalini, the yogi must go through a series of physical and mental exercises in which he learns to control his inner energy, his breathing and his senses. Kundalini not only is wonderful cleansing and healing for the body it can also enable the yogi to achieve a deep awareness of bodily energies and a heightened state of bliss.

Guided Meditation

Meditation is a mental discipline by which one attempts to get beyond the conditioned, “thinking” mind into a deeper state of relaxation or awareness. Throughout the weekend, guided mediations will be taught as well as chanting sessions which will help relax and control the busy mind and invigorate the body’s energy.

Nutrition and Health Consultation

During the weekend you will have the opportunity for a one to one session with our resident Kinesiologist and Naturopathic Nutritionist. They will advise you on diet and lifestyle changes to improve your wellbeing following the weekend.

Time Out

There will be plenty of time for you to take time by yourself. You can either enjoy walks along the beach, rest, read, meditate alone or just be. We also have an indoor pool and sauna. There is no pressure to attend every class or session during the weekend, it is your weekend and we want you to have the very best time so do what feels best for you.
